There is a tree called the Tamarisk.
It grows in desert conditions — in dry, unforgiving soil where most things struggle to survive. It does not shrink from difficulty and it does not reward impatience. A Tamarisk tree can take decades to reach its full maturity. What it produces, eventually, is shade. And stability. And protection for everything around it.
Historically, people planted Tamarisk trees knowing they would never fully sit in the shade themselves. They planted them for the people who would come after. For generations they would never meet. For a future they believed in but could not see.
In the Book of Genesis, Abraham planted a Tamarisk tree in Beersheba — not as a practical act, but as an act of faith. A deliberate gesture directed toward a future he would not live to see, made in the full understanding that the most significant things we do are often the ones whose fruit we never taste ourselves. That idea is the foundation of everything Tamarisk Business Advisors was built to do.

Co-founder
Phil Harwood, Esq.
Phil Harwood is an attorney and the Co-founder of Tamarisk Business Advisors LLC. Inspired by his experience growing up in a family business, his vision created the foundation upon which Tamarisk was built. His commitment to helping business owners successfully navigate their most significant transitions has shaped everything the firm stands for.
Phil also founded Tamarisk Legal Advisors PLLC, a law firm focused on business law, estate planning, and probate administration. His legal practice includes helping business owners sell their businesses, prepare legal documents, negotiate on their behalf, and ensure successful outcomes. He also handles contracts, entities, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, and other legal matters for his business clients.
Phil is an active member of several trade associations and non-profit organizations. He is a prolific writer, blogger, podcaster, and speaker.
President & Co-founder
Tabetha Hart, CEPA
Tabetha Hart is the President and Co-founder of Tamarisk Business Advisors and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) through the Exit Planning Institute. She is the author of the #1 Amazon Best Seller The Tamarisk Method — a book written for the business owner who is ready to build with intention, reduce owner dependency, and protect what they have spent their life creating.
Over the course of her career, Tabetha has worked alongside owners during some of the most consequential moments in a company's life — leadership transitions, succession decisions, and seasons of instability that reveal exactly how much a business depends on the person who built it. Those experiences shaped her belief that strong businesses are not simply profitable. They are intentionally designed to function beyond the owner.
Her mission is straightforward: ensure that what owners have spent their lives building continues to serve the employees, families, and communities that depend on it.

Bill Boomer
Bill Boomer is a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach and one of the first 100 people in the world to complete the Gallup certification program when he trained at the Gallup campus in Omaha, Nebraska in 2014. He also holds an executive coaching certification from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
For nearly a decade, Bill has trained, coached, and encouraged individuals and organizations to build on their natural talents and strengths — operating from the belief that discovering what is strong rather than what is wrong provides the most powerful foundation for lasting growth and change.

Leslie Boomer
Leslie Boomer is a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach and executive coaching certificate holder from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University — where the program was developed by Richard Boyatzis, Ph.D., a prominent researcher in emotional intelligence and intentional change.
Leslie trained at the Gallup campus in Omaha, Nebraska in 2014 and was among the first 100 people to complete the certification. She specializes in one-on-one and small team coaching, helping individuals envision their best future and build a clear path to bring it to life.

Gerelli brings an engineering background and a passion for precision to her role at Tamarisk Business Advisors. Having worked in manufacturing as a Quality Engineer, she developed a deep appreciation for the processes and systems that drive efficiency and excellence — and she applies that same mindset to supporting the Tamarisk team behind the scenes.
With a strong aptitude for research and organization, Gerelli is dedicated to streamlining workflows, managing details with accuracy, and creating the structure that allows everyone else to focus on what matters most.

Glory is the CEO and President of Kainos Innovative Solutions, bringing over 30 years of experience in the IT industry and more than two decades of service to U.S. federal agencies. A PMP-certified professional and Agile Scrum Practitioner, she has successfully led major Business Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation initiatives for both federal and commercial organizations.
Passionate about driving innovation and social impact, Glory and her team at Kainos Innovative Solutions provide the technology expertise and support that keeps Tamarisk's digital presence running with the same precision and intentionality the firm brings to every client engagement.
